Inspired by love and appreciation for plants and trees and lessons learnt from Japanese calligraphy Anne McKenzie has painted a series of banners on Japanese paper directly from life. The pieces aim to combine some of the observational truth of botanic art with the immediacy and emotional resonance of Shodo.
